We have leveraged the buying power of every national book retailer in the US market. What that means for your organization is access to the widest range of titles and authors in every size, retail and genre of book. We buy publisher over-stocks, excess inventories and retailer returns and build assortments for our customers. Christian Book Fundraising buys stock from over 15 major Christian publishers every month and makes these books available to your organization. Christian Book Fundraising was founded and is managed by Christian publishing industry veteran Jay Echternach.

About Jay Echternach

Jay Echternach serves as director and founder of Walk Off Sales. He started his professional sales career in 1986 as a National Accounts Manager for Philips Consumer Electronics, working with major retailers like Fred Meyer, Bi-Mart, G.I Joes and Costco Wholesale. Jay transitioned to Hunter Ceiling fans in 1993 as Western Regional Sales Manager responsible for Eagle Hardware, Sears Hardware and several regional rep groups.

In 1999 he got his start in publishing as V.P of Sales for Multnomah Publishers in Sisters, Oregon.  At Multnomah he was responsible for a sales team of 25+, national account sales, profit and budget goals, marketing plan development and the overall revenue goals of the company. During 2000 and 2001 Multnomah published and sold over 25m copies of the Prayer of Jabez and was awarded the Publisher of the year by the CBA Industry and many national retail and wholesale customers. In 2003, in conjunction with their distribution partner; Gospel Light, Jay helped create a national sales organization; Inspirational Publishers Group. Since leaving Multnomah in August of 2006, Jay has developed a viable sales module for the mass channel and contributed over $3m in new revenue for his publishing partners.

Jay has been married for over 30 years to his lovely wife; Deborah and has 2 grown children; Jayson and Jennifer. Jay serves his local church as a mid-week Bible study leader, Men’s group facilitator and Welcome class coordinator. He likes to enjoy the outdoors in his spare time; cycling, fly fishing, golfing and has coached youth and High School baseball for over 15 years.
